Elizabeth Mance founded and currently manages Accountability Services. She started her accounting career in 1986, working for Arthur Andersen for 11 years. In 1997 she left Andersen to pursue her dream of starting her own business. Throughout the firm’s upstart, she simultaneously worked in industry for AT&T, Verizon, Microsoft and Disney. After years of advising businesses, she turned to the field of business taxation to provide comprehensive guidance to the firm’s clients.
Elizabeth is known for putting clients at ease and explaining complicated tax issues in ways that can be understood. Her combination of education and experience give her a well-rounded background that is ideal for providing clients with sound tax planning, financial and technology solutions. Her clients cover a range of industries, including professional services, manufacturing, advertising, health care providers, retail, food production/hospitality and high tech.
Elizabeth is an is an honors graduate in Accountancy from the University of South Florida, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and National Association of Enrolled Agents.
Jason Diven provides services to our construction and real estate clients in Florida and is also our firm's Business Manager. Prior to joining us, Jason worked in project and contract management for Suffolk Construction, a national firm in Miami, where he gained enterprise-level experience in financial planning and analysis. Jason's clients benefit from his well-rounded expertise and often seek him out for more than just the typical accounting work. He has helped clients improve their contract bidding process, internal estimating models, and incentive programs for cost control. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and is QuickBooks certified.
Sandi Hart serves two critical functions for our mid-sized clients: IT systems consultant and senior staff accountant. She has 30+ years experience serving clients needs in accounting and delivering IT solutions. With her in-depth systems integration and development background, her specialties are in Utilities CIS, SQL Server Development, and SAP Financial. Sandi is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, certified on the Enterprise, POS, and Field Service Manager platforms. Her corporate resume includes work with PSE, Vertex-Alliance Data, Buyer’s Consolidated, Eddie Bauer, Wildfire Software, and Rainier National Bank. In her spare time, she volunteers for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life program.
Russ Kost graduated with a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western Washington University in Bellingham and has broad corporate and client experience. He supports the firm as a senior accountant providing financial leadership, tax preparation and accounting services. Over the past 25 years, Russ has worked for Grays Harbor Housing Authority, Jackson Hewitt, Symetra Investment Services, Safeco Mutual Funds, the City of Bellevue and Virginia Mason in senior level capacities. Russ is a CPA and is also certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Martha Mikeal is originally from Atlanta where she graduated with honors from the State University at West Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. She has an extensive technology background and has worked for Coca-Cola, Lockheed-Martin, Sprint and Datatrac developing and supporting a myriad of financial and human resources systems for both large and small businesses. She also worked for four years as the Tax Manager for a 30-person H&R Block office. With Martha's well-rounded background, she is involved with all departments of our firm delivering technology solutions and tax services to our clients.
Mary Pat Mitton
Mary Pat graduated with two bachelor's degrees from Seattle University and Central Washington University and recently passed the CPA exam. Prior to joining our firm, Mary Pat worked for local businesses in their accounting departments. Mary Pat supports our firm's Tax and Accounting departments. She also supports QuickBooks clients with system set-up, troubleshooting, maintenance, consulting, and filing their state and local tax returns.
Tara O. Simpson
Tara Simpson provides tax preparation and other accounting services for our individual and non-profit clients. In addition to public accounting, Tara has operations experience in TV productions with some of the largest broadcast markets in the US. She earned her bachelor's degree from San Diego State University and attended Central Washington University for her accounting program and recently earned her MPA degree. Tara is also a CPA.
Manny Uson is a senior accountant supporting many of our manufacturing, retail, and hospitality clients. He has 30+ years of accounting experience including business management. Prior to joining the firm, he owned and managed his own businesses and, as a result, he understands the challenges and demands our clients face. Manny is an accounting graduate of the University of the East (Manila, Philippines) and is also certified in QuickBooks. When Manny is not working, he volunteers as a non-profit consultant for Seattle international organizations, and loves his golf game!
It is Angela Weller who will greet you at our front lobby! Angela is not only our receptionist and office manager, but she also has responsibility for developing and reporting on our firm's quality and client service metrics. Prior to joining our firm, Angela worked in business management and accounting and attended Central Washington University. She is also certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
