Do not panic if a letter from the IRS unexpectedly shows up in your mailbox this January! Whatever you receive, be sure to upload a PDF to your portal.

You may get two letters:

If you received an “Economic Impact Payment,” also referred to as a Stimulus payment, you will get a letter (IRS Letter 6475)
If you received advanced Child Tax Credit payments, you will get a letter (IRS Letter 6419)

Be sure to make a PDF and upload these to your portal! We will need these letters in order to properly prepare your 2021 tax return.
