Accountability Services Wins Firm of the Year

Accountability Services is excited to announce that we have been named Firm of the Year by Thomson Reuters at their Tax & Accounting SYNERGY 2022 conference.

As a provider of innovative tax and accounting solutions, Thomson Reuters’ annual Luca Awards are nationally recognized accolades that honor accounting professionals and firms that best capture the pioneering spirit of Luca Pacioli, widely known as the father of modern accounting.

Members of our leadership team flew out to Washington, D.C. to accept the award, where they had a great time networking with fellow award winners, accounting professionals from around the country and Thomson Reuters consultants.

Managing Director Dave Fischer had nothing but praise for the Accountability Services team:

Moving forward with Practice Forward

We know the way we do things is different – and now we have the hardware to prove it!

The journey that led us to national recognition began in 2021, following the implementation of Thomson Reuters’ Practice Forward methodology. Practice Forward has changed the way our firm identifies, develops and enacts solutions for our clients – by shifting our focus into an advisory role that is both more engaging for clients and better suited for creating personalized results.

In addition to growing our advisory products and services, we have added a number of software solutions and tools for our staff and clients to utilize. From improved training capabilities to enhanced tracking, better communication, expanded client interaction and so much more, we’re aiming to modernize every process, both on the advisory side of the practice and for advanced tax return preparation and delivery.

All these changes lead not only to better client outcomes, but to a customer experience unmatched by other CPA firms in Seattle.
